The BTP is required to submit a yearly CPD (Continuing Professional Development) report on the related subject specified in the Competency Certificate. The objective of CPD is to ensure the maintenance of technical knowledge and skill in the related subject. Additionally, it will uphold the BTP to keep abreast with the latest technology development and safety requirements of the related subject. A dedicated committee will be appointed to monitor the CPD progress and review the CPD report. The award of the competency certificate to the BTP may be forfeited if the BTP does not practice consistently (monitored through CPD report) on the related subject.
